This is a word younger people use today. It means to be cool, real, or not fake.
We all want legit things. Whether it’s real food, a real drive, or a real relationship, we all want the real deal. And this doesn’t stop with just things, we also want real opportunities.
It’s especially true with Get Paid To (GPT) sites and Pay to Click (PTC) sites. Some of the sites are legit, but so many of them are scams. It’s hard to differentiate the real and the fake. It’s hard to differentiate the legitimate from the scams.
But, it’s not impossible.
Especially not when the Online Money Monkey is on your side.
There are certain signs legitimate sites show. Look for them to know whether the site is legit. The Monkey is going to help you with that.
In this article you’ll learn 5 signs that, together, will definitely show you that the site you’re canvassing is LEGITIMATE.
So crack your knuckles and let’s get on with it.
A PTC site cannot, and I mean, cannot pay you very much per ad. It’s tempting to sign up on those sites that promise you a dollar or more per ad, but it’s just not possible.
Why? Let’s do the math.
The advertisers pay PTC sites at least $10, and at most, $20 for 10,000 views. Divide $20 by 10,000 and you get a maximum payout of $0.002 for one ad!
The PTC site has to earn money though. So, they keep $5 of the max $20, giving you only $15 or $0.0015 every five to ten second ad and up to $0.02 every 60 second ad you watch.
(Don’t worry, learning to use PTC is just the beginning. The Online Money Monkey can show you how to earn a healthy income with PTC.)
PTC sites depend on the regular traffic and high activity of their members to keep their business afloat. And, as in any community, concerns and problems can pop up. Sometimes also, there are just people who want to talk and share their experiences with others.
And so the forums and support centers are there. One to discuss and the other to communicate almost directly with the site’s handlers to voice concerns.
The activity in the forums can show you how active the members are in the site, and the activity in the support centers shows you how the site cares for its members.
Quora is a site where you can ask questions and get them answered by the general public. The most upvoted answers go to the top, while the more unfavorable answers are voted down and settle at the bottom.
You can ask Quora what PTC sites are trusted and it’ll return you a question and an answer of what you’re looking for. Never count on Quora as the absolute truth — but you can use it to gather opinions.
Not all recommendations by Quora are sound! Check the other signs before you invest your time and your money into it. Better yet, listen to the Monkey.
PTC sites are a relatively easy way to make money, so why shouldn’t you invest a bit of money to make much more money?
Many work-from-home sites are scams, and they will make you believe that the success of the site (and later on, large payouts for you) is dependent on how much you invest in it.
There are many people who have believed these schemes, including a Cleveland man who lost thousands in one of these scams. The job was to purchase things from his own credit card and ship these to different parts of Europe, Russia, and Asia.
All out of his own pocket.
The company would supposedly pay him back, but reimbursement never came. He lost $47,000 in this endeavor before realizing it was a scam.
So here’s the deal: sites you can trust pay you, they don’t ask you to pay them.
Needing to deposit money is a BIG red flag. NEVER pay for a cash out. There is just no legitimate job in the world that asks you to deposit money before you can receive your salary.
There are also sites that ask you to pay upfront for the opportunity to become a member and click ads. DON’T do that. Why would they need payment for you to click ads? They should pay you!
And never pay for the products they’re asking you to sell. All these are big no-nos.
The older the PTC site, the better.
Say it with me, the older the site, the better.
This is mainly because the older the site, the more it’s been vetted out by other people. The older the site means it’s not closed down due to bad business practices. And the older the site, means it’s almost, definitely not a scam.
Older sites tend to have a better reputation too. Sites like ClixSense and Neobux have been here for years, they’ve proven themselves trustworthy, and they’re in business for the long run. Choose sites which are 2 to 12 years older, and you’re guaranteed to be safer than those that just popped up yesterday.
And there you have it! 5 ways to tell if the PTC site is legit.
Take all PTC sites with a grain of salt, take these factors into account, and together, you’re sure to have several safe sites under your belt that you can make extra money from.
